Awfully hot. Sidney and 5 girls went to S.S (Sunday school) and Sidney conducted services a.m. and at Dutch Hill at 3 p.m. and Gayville 7:30 p.m. Lillian rode home with Mrs. Siegert. Maud Potter gave her some cookies. Sidney got .60 cents here, .40 cents at Dutch Hill and .92 cents at Gayville.

Sunday May 28th 1916
Warm, rather muggy. Sidney and the three girls went to church. Mora went with Cottet's , rode home with Mrs. Siegert, other 3 rode with mr. Johnson. Blanch Cottet gave Mora 3 nice pink roses for her hat. Sidney, Mora and Maud have gone to church this eve., had a good crowd tonight.
Monday May 8th, 1916
Had a good shower a.m., thunder shower p.m.. Sidney went to West Monroe a.m., got corn, and Maud went to take the milk train, p.m., for Fulton. Children went to school, Mora came home at noon, called on Mrs. Siegert this eve.
Sunday April 9, 1916
A little flurry of snow nearly all day. Sidney and Mora went to Sunday School and meeting. Mora got a ride home with Mrs. Siegert and Johnnie. They have gone this eve. Sidney is conducting a meeting.
Sunday August 1, 1915
Hot. Sidney and Maud went to church. Maud rode with Mrs. Siegert, they decided to hold the S.S. picnic Thursday Aug. 14th at Joe Slosson's. Sidney took a walk with Bell's cow. Harry House came eve.
