Wednesday November 3, 1915

Cold, a little rain. Hail and round snow, first snow this fall. Mora came home eat breakfast. She and Maud and Memphis went to school. The Russel girls stopped and went with them. Bell came an hour a.m. Mr. House said he whole republican ticket was elected here but town went wet. Rev. Sypher and Fay dug some of their {unable to read, ripped} acrost the road.

Tuesday November 2, 1915

Cold raw wind. Rained and hailed about 4 p.m. Mora came over acrost with Lettie, she went {unable to read, ripped}. Mora, Maud and Memphis went to school together. Russel came just dark, wanted one of the girls to help Mamie while he went and see about a house to {unable to read, ripped}. So Mora went. Maud and Memphis went with {unable to read, ripped}, came back with the lantern. I got off of Mr. Wilson, 5# graham, 1 red cross and 1 soap. Sold him eleven eggs at .38c/doz. Sidney started at 9 a.m. to go and vote and go on towards Fulton intending to get as far as Loren woods tonight. Volney Russel's barn burned last night, all his farming tools, horse, cow, hogs and hens, also burned with it. Mr. House came in and talked himself out as usual.

Monday November 1, 1915

Beautiful day. Sidney cut us a nice lot of wood, and this eve. went over with Mora to Bryant's and then E.B. Potter's. Got 4 small pumpkins also went to Cary's and got onions. Bell came p.m. and this eve came and brought the Post Standard so we could read Billy Sunday's services. Sarah came with her but did not come in. Mr. House visited with Sidney p.m. Saw fire eve. A baby boy at Charles Beasonson's.
