Monday August 28th 1916

 Quite cold, rained a.m. children played at Russel's. One went at a time. Sidney sent a letter to E. M. Wightman and went to Gayville this eve. Got a ride in an auto, saw Call Burgess. Rosen came, sold him some rags and rubber. .35 cents.
