I dug potatoes. Sidney cut corn. Mr. Webb came with the real estate agent and people that bought the place.

Tuesday August 29th 1916
Frost last night, wiped out some cucumber vines. Sidney started for the north about 8 a.m. Bell Allen came p.m. brought a little dress and pair of pants she found in the house. Geo. Webb came to get some tools of his that were here
Sunday June 25th 1916
Fair. Sidney, Mora and Maud went to church, a.m., all gone again eve. and Memphis also. Mr. Webb drove down p.m., the Polish man next door came p.m. Sidney let him have our mail box for $1.25. Memphis went down there and got 1 qt. of milk tonight.
Sunday June 4th 1916
Warm lovely day. Sidney went to Dutch Hill p.m. and to the school house eve. From there is going over on the Pinnacle. Mora came home after meeting at noon. Other three went and rode down and back with Mr. Johnson. Mr. Webb drove down here p.m., also Mr. Cary came a little while p.m., he is looking very poorly.
Sunday May 14th 1916
Fair. Mora came home at 10 a.m. Blanch gave her a pair of rompers for Paul, that her little Rose had outgrown. Sidney, Maud, Memphis and Cassy went to church a.m. Sidney, Maud, and Mora have gone this evening. Mr. Webb came p.m. to see Sidney about draging.
