Sunday May 7th, 1916

Beautiful warm day. Mora came home from Elmer's, a.m. Sidney preached at the school house at 11, Dutch Hill at 2 p.m., and at Gayville, eve. Maud went to S.S, rode home with uncle Billy. Sidney did too, James, Susie and the baby came up, eve., brought a mess of carp and a lot of fish egg's, some cream and sour milk. Milk got all spilt out but, just a little. Brought some *compounded in a pint can for fear I did not have any to fry the fish. Sidney got home from Gayville at 10 p.m.,  collection 80 cents.
