We hoed and I planted some beans and set tomato plants. Mora weed out turnips and parsnips. Mrs. Judge stopped and kept me talking about an hour, or I could have finished the beans. Sidney went down to Bisbo's a.m. got some seed potatoes to plant.

Sunday August 22, 1915
Rained all night, all day and is still raining 9 p.m. All of Wynes came together with Mr. and Mrs. Judge, also John to Johnson's in their car. Leslie and Mina stopped here.
