Monday June 19th 1916

Showery a.m., fairly pour'd p.m.  Sidney got Kent's horse to cultivate. Rain'd so he only went through 4 rows. He went to Wm. Monroe's, p.m.  Mr. Sypher gave him a bag of seed potatoes. Put turkey setting on eight eggs.

Sunday May 23, 1915

Real pleasant day. Sidney and Maud went to Sunday school and church. Mrs. Kent, Herbert, Monroe and Hank Woolridge were there.
